I'm so pleased you are interested in joining the Music City Community Chorus (MC3). We refer to MC3 as "the people's chorus" because members range from professional singers to those who are new to public performance. All you need is a love of music and a willingness to learn. Auditioning begin August 16, 2010 for the winter season. Call 615.244.3280 or e-mail Elaine if you would like audition.

You will be asked to:
1) Sing scales to determine your range.
2) Sing a short portion of a song we will provide. Please learn both parts for your gender, i.e. soprano/alto or tenor/bass.

Call Elaine at 615.244.3280 to schedule your audition time.

Download the application. Fill out parts 1 & 2 and bring it with you to your audition.

            

Download both pages of the song and learn your parts. If you do not sight read music, get someone to help you learn the song, i.e. church choir member, friend, anyone who can read music.

Remember you must do the following:
1) Call Elaine at 615.244.3280 to set an audition time.
2) Download and fill out Part One of the application.
3) Download both pages of the song and learn both parts for your gender (i.e. alto/soprano or tenor/bass).
4) Bring the completed application with you to your audition.
5) Once you are accepted you will need to bring $30 to your first rehearsal. When you leave the chorus you will get the $30 back IF you have returned all the music.
